New 2024 AAU Volleyball Age Divisions (Indoor)

10 & Under – Must be born on or after July 1, 2013
11 & Under – Must be born on or after July 1, 2012
12 & Under – Must be born on or after July 1, 2011
13 & Under – Must be born on or after July 1, 2010
14 & Under – Must be born on or after July 1, 2009
15 & Under – Must be born on or after July 1, 2008
16 & Under – Must be born on or after July 1, 2007
17 & Under – Must be born on or after July 1, 2006, OR players who were born on or after July 1, 2005 and are in the 11th grade during the current academic year.
18 & Under – Must be born on or after July 1, 2005, OR players who were born on or after July 1, 2004 and be high school students during some part of the current academic year.

Please note, if you do not see the age level/team listed that team is full at this time.

All registrations must be completed online, please ensure you indicate the highest level of play you are trying out for
Registration cost (NO REFUNDS): $50
All tryouts will be held at Elite Sportsplex, 2220 Mall Dr E Waterford, MI 48328.
Every position for every team that requires a tryout is placed via the tryout process. NO POSITIONS are offered PRIOR to tryouts unless they are an INVITATION TEAM.

Athletes should arrive at least 30 minutes prior to the start of tryouts to check in and warm-up.
Athletes will be issued one numbered t-shirt that should be worn to any tryouts they choose to attend. Only one tryout is necessary, but once you've attended a tryout you are welcome to come to any other tryouts for additional evaluations or extra reps/training for free.
We utilize a high repetition circuit format so each athlete is provided significant contact with the ball in the evaluated core skills and every athlete is afforded the fairest evaluation possible.
Each athlete will be evaluated by our coaching staff on their volleyball skills, knowledge, coachability, and teamwork.
Following the tryout session, the coaching staff discusses their evaluations and works together on the team placement process. We aim to place each athlete at the highest possible level to be competitive.

After each of the tryout dates, parents will receive a placement email within 5 days including a registration link for the team. Note: placements are NOT guaranteed.
Parents/Players will have 24 hours to make a decision to accept the placement offer and pay the deposit ($500 for State, National Lite, and Nike teams, $125 for seasonal teams) to hold the athletes position on the roster.
After the 24 hour period has passed, your offer will be void and the HP staff will send the offer to the next athlete for that position.
